Volunteering with us



Over the years, at Rotten Hill we have welcomed volunteers from our local community and around the world. Volunteers play an important part in ensuring that Rotten Hill remains a welcoming, harmonious and affordable place for guests attending retreats, workshops, and private stays. We are deeply grateful to each individual who has contributed to our community with generosity and enthusiam. Whether staying for a few weeks or a little longer, everyone is united by a passion for creativity, mindfulness, non harming and meaningful human connection. Each person is warmly welcomed into our serene and inspiring community. Volunteering at Rotten Hill offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, explore artistic expressions in a slower, more intentional and meditative way of living.


Share Your Talents - Mindfulness Work Practice



Activities may include:

  • Helping maintain communal spaces and gardens
  • Assisting with guests hospitality
  • Contributing to creative and artistic initiatives
  • Providing a warm and welcoming presence for visitors
  • Helping with the animal sanctuary
  • Organizing our library
  • Helping at the Cat's Meow Cafe'
  • And more...


Volunteers are encouraged to participate in meditation sessions, creative workshops, and community gatherings. Depending on their schedule and length of stay, they may also attend special events and retreats hosted on the property.


To express your interest, please get in touch. We will ask you to submit a brief introduction outlining your intentions for wishing to be with us, your skills and your Curriculum Vitae.

"Rotten Hill, what can I say....I have known it from it's infancy when, many years ago, my family and I met Andrew on Galleon beach in Antigua and never stopped coming back. It is a place to get away from it all and regenarate but also to put some good things into action, connect with the wonderful people of Antigua, helping and engaging with the different daily activities, eating truly inspirational vegan food....and to cap it all live very closely with the colorful family of recued animals.

I feel it is like a slice of Heaven, or as I would say, "Heaven on a biscuit".
