Meditation

" If every 8 year old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world within one generation."

-The 14th Dalai Lama

"I attended my first meditation class when I was 33 years old. The benefits were instant, from learning how to give a break to my busy mind, to gaining deeper awareness of the spectrum of human emotions regulating our daily lives, to being in touch more clearly with my inner wisdom and a deper sense of life purpouse. Why was I not taught these essential life tools when I was little? Like most people, I grew up in an educational system which favours academic versus emotional intelligence. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lam's words on the benefits of learning meditation from a young age, touch my heart deeply".

-Dina
